Krazy Crafting Crew July Blog Hop day #2

Welcome back to day 2 of the Krazy Crafting Crew's July blog hop:  Summer Fun!!   You should have made your way here from Jamie Lindstrom Designs blog, if not make sure you start from the beginning with this month's hostess Lissa Marie at So many crafts, so little time.

For my second project I added a page to one of my grandsons's 8x8 album that I am doing to chronicle is early years.
this is a compilation of several different summer fun papers that I
cut and trimmed to make the borders

this is my attempt at a digi stamp LOL  I'm not comfortable
with using markers yet so I did this one with colored pencils and
covered him in Glossy Accents. This is a summertime fun bear from PPbN also
I know this was a really quick project for today, not much to show on a one page 8x8 layout.  You need to move on to fellow Krazy Crafting Crew member Robin at Scrap and Chat...but before you do, if you follow me and leave a comment with a way to contact you, you could win your own summertime fun embellishments to get you started on your own summer crafts!

Thanks for stopping by and happy scrappin!!

But that's not all, there is also more blog candy to be had! To enter to win you must comment on every blog on the hop, this will complete your entry to win 4 summer theme digi stamps and the gift certificate. For each blog in the hop that you become a follower, that is an extra entry, now wait …. you can even get one more entry by commenting at Scrapbook Stamp Society. Please keep your entry usernames and email addys coordinating with your entries so we know who you are and how to get ahold of you. The prize will be drawn next Wednesday July 11th.

I had to chuckle with your comment about not being comfortable enough yet with your markers so you used your colored pencils on the bear... isn't it usually the other way around? Markers are the easy things, and colored pencils are the tough ones? Wait 'til you graduate and use them both together, LOL!! You can do it!! Oh BTW, be sure to use your markers first and overlay your pencils, otherwise you'll do in your marker nibs. Just sayin'.

SMOOCHES to you!

I really like your layout, and your comment that you can't really fit a whole lot on an 8x8. Lol. I've seen a lot of people doing 8x8's lately and it's starting to sound to me that it's the way to go! You did a great job, and I love your pencil coloring on the bear :)

Thanks so much for sharing!

Cute and colorful layout. I love that adorable bear. I use a lot of colored pencils when I color as well as the markers but I'm also just getting started with the markers. Jearise in Lorby's World.

Very cute layout! I love digi's and you did a great job on this one! I too color mine with pencils or chalks ~ not a marker person.

Great pages for your grandson. You are making memories for him that will be bigger than any 8x8 page. Love the little bear that you added too!!
