Winter wonderland for me is all about snow, how beautiful it is right after it falls, so majestic and pure. The air is so quiet and crisp.  So thinking of that I made a snowflake banner (of sorts).  Banners typically have letters or words of encouragement or congratulations on them.  Mine has no words, just the beauty and peacefulness of falling snow.

Simple project, like the beauty of falling snow. I took a branch from my Birch tree
and wrapped in a pink ribbon.  The snowflakes, cut from the Winterlace Cricut cartridge are double-sided
and hung with fishing line.
Thank you for taking the time out to check out my projects, you are encouraged to keep clicking for more Winter Wonderland. Your next stop is Robin's fantastic blog!  Thanks so much for hopping through our Winter Wonderland!

Scraps to Treasures Nov Blog Hop

Welcome to the Scraps to Treasures team November blog hop. If you have come from Pam's blog you are heading in the right direction whoo hoo!  If you stumbled upon my blog you most definitely need to start from the beginning at Cicily's so you don't miss one of this month's spectacular projects!

Remember there is team blog candy being offered, but to be eligible to win you must comment on each blog along the way and if you've made it this far you only have two more blogs left, so make sure you take the time to visit all the way through for a chance at this:

This month we were challenged with making a project, with scraps only, following this tic tac toe template.
For my project I made my move straight down the left side; butterflies, banner & buttons!

I had ordered a mini album kit earlier in the year from Little yellow Bicycle and had some stuff left over so that's what I used.  The banner and buttons are little yellow bicycle, the paper is called Hello Summer.  The stamp is from CTMH Art philosophy cartridge/stamp set, stamped in CTMH barn red.

My card may project sunshine, but my blog candy is singing Jingle Bells!

This chipboard pack of Christmas images and a roll of Christmas red ribbon goes to one lucky follower!  Just make sure to leave a way for me to contact you in the comments.

Now you need to move on to Robin's blog....

Thanks for stopping by and happy scrappin!

So we are here celebrating the 2nd anniversary of the wonderful Ashley's Glamorous Side of Scrapping's blog!  I'm sure everyone here is super excited to help her celebrate.  If you've come from Jennifer's blog you are headed in the right direction, or start from the beginning at Ashley's blog.  This is day 2 of a two day hop to get all the celebrating in!  My project today is a clean and simple card.  If you follow The Glamorous Side of Scrapping you know she has beautiful clean and simple cards.  I love this technique even though I still have a hard time making it "clean & simple" LOL.    My take:

This is a pre-made Christmas print card base. The chipboard frame and stamp are from CTMH.  I sponge inked it in Olive, strung some ribbon through it and tada!

Hope you really enjoyed it next on the hop is Sandra but   Before you go I have some blog candy for one of my wonderful followers.  Just make sure you comment both days with a way to get ahold of you!

Glamorous Side of Scrapping 2nd Blogaversary Hop

So we are here celebrating the 2nd anniversary of the wonderful Ashley's Glamorous Side of Scrapping's blog!  I'm sure everyone here is super excited to help her celebrate.  If you've come from Jennifer's blog you are headed in the right direction, or start from the beginning at Ashley's blog.  This will be a two day hop to get all the celebrating in!  My project today is a "shaped card".  If you follow The Glamorous Side of Scrapping you know she is famous for her shape cards, so to show my appreciation for learning this from her I tried my hand at making my own shape card.

Because our family is in the throes of football and play - offs I decided to make a foot shape card for each of my grandsons to congratulate them on a fantastic season.

This is the football from the Cricut cartridge Everyday Paperdolls.  Using my Gypsy I  sized the football to just over 5", copied the image, flipped it horizontally so the two shapes would meet up evenly when folded.  I placed the tops of the footballs almost touching and placed a small rectangle between them and welded all three shapes together to get the base.  I then cut a slightly smaller football as the main shape.  I embossed the football with "tiny bubbles" to get the leather look - this was the closest embossing folder I had.  The stickers are from Paper studio.

I hope you like my shape card today and make sure you come back tomorrow for round 2!. Next on the hop list is Sandra but before you go, to show my appreciation for being a follower I have some blog candy for you.  Just leave a comment both days with a way to contact you.

Krazy Crafting Crew November Hop

Welcome to this month's Krazy crafting crew's friends and family blog hop.  This month the crew is showing you krazy projects either about your friends and family or gifts you can make.  If you came from Zenita's blog you are headed in the right direction, or start at this month's hostess Jessie's's blog.

And as always we have blog candy offered from The Scrapbook stamp Society. They would love to reward one special blog visitor with a prize from their store. To be qualified for their drawing, please comment on all participating blogs and let them know you have. You can receive extra entries for following them on Facebook at (http://www.facebook.com/groups/205539419562521/) and for commenting on the Scrapbook Stamp Society blog (http://addicted-to-stamps.blogspot.com/).

Today I am sharing with you a gift I made for a co-workers wedding.  I have been seeing these craft blocks all over facebook and just had to try one.  I found a tutorial on how to do a split letter and using the Regal font I followed along and made this beautiful block.  I may be boasting by calling it beautiful, but because it was the first one I've ever attempted it's beautiful to me!

This is vinyl that I cut with my Cricut using SCAL2.  I then put tiny 'Christmas' lights and some shred into the block.  These are so pretty that I can't wait to make more!.

Make sure you continue on to Robin's blog.  But before you go I have blog candy up for grabs for one of my wonderful followers also.  Just make sure to leave a comment with a way to contact you!
