Scraps to Treasures Tag Swap Hop!

Welcome to the Scraps to Treasures Christmas Tag swap hop.  Yep you read that right, it's a hop with a swap LOL and as blog candy we are offering you a set of these adorable tags just for commenting on each blog in the hop!  If you have gotten here from Robin's blog, you're going in the right direction.  If not please start with a hop hostess this month Ellen.

So this using scraps is getting easier actually, I grabbed ONE (yes I have more then one) scrap box and started sorting looking for just Christmas paper,

while I was at it I also pulled out all my solid paper and sorted that, now my scrap box will actually close LOL

So after all that sorting I was able to start on my tags.  Using my gypsy (so I learned with scraps it's probably easier to just use the Cricut straight out).  Using TTBM I cut both the tag and the shadow just grabbing papers that matched.

The Santa chick stamp and star are from Denami Designs
The "To-From" (on the back) is from My Pink Stamper Christmas Wishes
Of course the paper is from my scrap pile - various companies

Thanks for stopping by and happy scrappin'    Make sure you continue on your way by visiting Lucy's fabulous blog next!.

Welcome back to day 2 and for my offering today I wanted to show you my Halloween wreath.  Everything was cut from the Happy Hauntings Cricut cartridge.  I re-purposed a spring wreath I had made, and which had seen happier days LOL by removing all the paper flowers and wrapping in new orange ribbon.  I used some beaded and fibered trim for the hanger.

And here it is!

So my October has been filled with football.  Boring you say?  Not at all when it's your 6 year old grandson who's playing!! This is his first year and he loves it.  I sure wish he was bigger, but like they say, "It's not the size of the dog in the fight, it's the size of the fight in the dog" .  Well this 40 pound 6 year old thinks he's a Rottweiler LOL  So my post for today is him all decked out in his Raiders' uniform waiting for the game to start.

Isn't he the cutest football player ever?!?!
