Boogity Boogity Let's go NASCAR racing bloghop 11/20

Welcome back to Day 2 of the Boogity Boogity let's go racing blog hop being hosted by Barbara.  This weekend we are here to celebrate the Champions as they race in Miami (lucky guys I bet it's warm there).

For today's project I made a mini album for my two year old grandson.  I cut the pages from cardboard in 1/2" increments.  The pages are covered with Cars wrapping paper and embellished with Cars stickers and chipboard pieces.

Thanks for stopping by, but before you pull into pit road I have blog candy!

Some Cars sticker from EK Success and other embellies from Life's little occasions!

All you need to do is comment on both days, with a way to contact you.  Drafting me (following) isn't necessary but it should would be nice!!  And remember Barbara is also offering blog candy - A Cricut cartidge - for one lucky driver who follows her and comments on all the blogs over these two days!

Now off to your next turn with Debbie

Boogity Boogity NASCAR bloghop Day 1

Gentlemen & ladies start your engines!!!!  It's time to go hopping for this NASCAR hop!!!  Yep it's the championship weekend and we're here to help the winner celebrate!!  If you happened to visit me and want to start at the pole position for this high speed hop go here:  Barbara!!  even if you aren't a NASCAR fan you still don't want to miss these great projects!!

This is a two day hop --NASCAR runs for two days -- Not literally, lol there are two races one in each division...but if you are a NASCAR fan you know this, and if you aren't I'm not going to bore you will all the details.   Just an FYI here too, I am lucky enough to have a NASCAR track in my home town!!  Chicagoland Speedway...which is NOT in Chicago LOL, but in my hometown, Joliet.  Okay, I'm not bitter that they wouldn't call it the Crossroads Raceway, or Prison City Speedway (yeah I would have accepted that much better then Chicagoland, just sayin')...ok it's been 10 years I need to get over it--I still haven't accepted Sprint Cup or Nationwide either!!

For my project today I made a card.  I will probably use this for a birthday some time down the road. This is just a basic A2 and I embellished it with stickers from  the Paper studio

---How about some marbles, er blog candy too???  All you need to do is leave a comment both days, - tomorrow is a different project - with a way for me to contact you.  Would love you to be a follower also.

Some Cars stickers from EK Success and other embellies from Life's little Occasions

And remember, Barbara is offering a great Cricut cartridge to one winner, all you need to do is follow her and make sure you leave a comment on each blog in the lineup!!

Thanks for stopping by and let's crank it up with your next stop.....Debbie

Things I'm Thankful for Blog Hop

Welcome hope you are having a wonderful time hopping with us and celebrating the things we are thankful for in our lives.  I am thankful for my wonderful family, who always stick by each other no matter what the circumstances.

This hop is being hosted by the ever gracious Lisa at Honeybearzdesigns.  If you have arrived here from Lynda's blog  you are going in the right direction.  If you need to start at the beginning go back to Lisa's blog at Honeybearz.

This is a two day hop, so for my first project I made a Thanksgiving mini album.  Each year our family gathers for Thanksgiving.  Either my daughter or myself make a book and pass it around to each family member to record what they are grateful for during the year.  This year I made this little mini album, with room for pictures and some journaling.  Each family member will be given a page, a square or a tag to journal on, everything, along with family pictures, will be placed in the book on Thanksgiving evening (and then we run out the door for Black Friday LOL)

I actually picked up the little album for only $1 at the Scrapbook Expo this year.   I used some older paper I had in my scrap box to finish it off.

And because I am thankful for all my friendly followers, I have blog candy to thank you with.  All you need to do is comment on both days of the hop - I will have two different projects-leave a way for me to contact you.  No need to be a follower, but I would be so ever grateful if you would!

Thank you for stopping by now on to the next great project from Nicolette!

Getting ready for the princess' wedding!

Hello all my crafty friends, I know I haven't been posting regularly, but that doesn't mean I haven't been busy crafting!  I have scheduled myself for blog hops almost weekly for the next several months and I have been busy making those projects.  Also, taking up most of my time is the upcoming wedding of my beautiful daughter.  Her Bridal shower was yesterday so I thought I would share a few photos today of different things we made for the shower.

First we made her save the date cards -- created our own photo booth!

then we went dress shopping  -- NO this is not the dress she chose can't show that (yet)

then we had to prepare for the shower, here are the cup cakes,
cupcake toppers and  castle tower topper

This is the banner

it read "Happily ever after"

We also made ornaments as party favors, clear ornaments  with silver and pink glitter inside and then written on the outside was either "happily ever after"' or "Once upon a time" They were then tied with a big pink bow.  Have to find the photos for those, so they may appear in a later post

But I must say my most beautiful creation is....

Thanks for stopping by and remember.....

Happy Scrapping!
