Party time word book

Wow I can't believe it's been a month since I last posted. It's been that long since I've facebooked or blog hopped too!  Summer is quickly coming to end and it has been super busy, but fun.  In the Midwest we have 9 months of cold weather (LOL) and only 3 months of warm outdoor weather (at least to me) so we have to make the most of it.  I've still been crafting, just not taking the time to blog about it.  Well I realized it's been a month and felt guilty that I was neglecting my blog and my followers.  I can't promise to post frequently until the entire summer season is over, but I will try to get at least one post in a week (goals, goals, do they really work when the beautiful weather is beckoning you to come out and play??!!)

I've been busy these past weeks preparing for my office staff's Appreciation Week.  It's a week we spend playing games, having contests, dressing up and just taking it easy in the office (as much as possible).

I created this Party Time word book as a prize for a simple game, how many binder clips are in the barrel.  I filled a large pretzel barrel with various sizes of binder clips (those little spring loaded black clips) and the employee who guesses closest to the number will win this Party Time word book:

I used the Birthday Extravaganza paperpack from the Paper Studio for all the pages

I used my Cinch to punch the holes and some random ribbon to tie it all together

Stitching around the photo frames to add a little something

I cut this on my Cricut using Design Studio software.  The cuts are from the Celebrations and George cartridges.  I had originally found this .cut file on the Cricut message boards last year  (unfortunately I can't give proper credit to the creator) and finally got the Celebrations cartridge so I could use it.  Because I don't know who will win this I kept the embellishments very simple.

Thanks for stopping by and being great followers!  Happy scrapping!!
