I just wanted to take a few minutes and share with you some birthday cards I made using some cute Lori Whitlock files from the Silhouette Store.
After the first one, these cards go together as fast as you can pick out matching papers! I have to admit the first one had me a little stumped until I just cut everything out and having the actual paper in front of me was so much easier to visualize.
They come with these cute little matching envelopes too. I used my favorite CTMH Birthday saying stamp on the inside before I closed them up. Oh I didn't mention hey are free standing? That's right they stand upall by themselves on a base.
Thanks for stopping by! Happy scrappin!

Krazy Crafting Crew May Blog Hop
You should have just come from Paula's blog at http://www.preciouspagesbypaula.blogspot.com/, if not you really want to start the hop from the beginning with our hostess Jearise who has a little something special for you hopping along with us today!
Welcome to our Mod Podge Hop brought to you by our Krazy Crafting Crew. We are an independent hop team that enjoys sharing our work with everyone and hope to inspire you with new ideas for you own creativity. We are a team who loves to do all different themes, such as cards, layouts, 3D projects and so much more. We do all the paper crafting from traditional to digital. Mostly traditional, every now and then there may be a little mixed media too!
Now on to some fun.
For my project this month I tried something I've been dying to do, an ALTERED CLIPBOARD. How does this fit into the theme this month you may be wondering, well.....The background of this clipboard is paper. I measured the clipboard, cut some matching papers applied Mod Podge to the backs of all the papers and "glued" them to the clipboard. Then for added adhesion and protection I did several layers of Mod Podge over the entire clipboard. I then added a few little embellishments and voila! I now have a perfectly adorable note center for our trailer!
This flashlight is actually a clothespin for holding a little note |
This corkboard I found in the scrapbooking paper section. |
I hope you enjoyed my project today and tackle one of these yourself! This is my last post as a member of the Krazy Crafting Crew. I want to thank each and everyone of you for allowing these little intrusions into your life each month. I hope you continue to follow my blog to see my occasional postings from time to time!
Now on to the next fantastic project using Mod Podge......Christina
