You can win this by leaving comments on each blog, and if you're not currently a follower, why not follow the blogs because there's always fun in this group and a blog hop each month to inspire you!

Here's my creation for this month's hop:

A BOX CARD

They seemed to be all over the internet this past month
and I just had to try one.

Vans are from the Silhoutte store

It even folds flat and fits in an envelope!

Now my box card is very simple, but if you like the concept you should search for "box card" and you will find some that are really beautiful.  If you have a Silhouette cutter they now have these templates in their store, but at the time I made mine they didn't so I did all my cutting by hand following the instructions from Split Coast Stampers: http://youtu.be/iaKsxdaVwv8.  There are all kinds of videos, some with easier measurements, so shop around and find the one you are comfortable with!

**** UPDATE***  I was actually able to grab a few minutes and use the Silhouette template to make this card below.  It is SOO simple to make these with the template, no measuring  LOVE IT!

UPDATE!!!  I was able to whip up a box card from
the Silhouette store file!

This is a Lori Whitlock file
Sorry for the messy last minute photos, but I was actually scrambling to get this one finished right before the hop. Once I went to close it I noticed the inserts were not perfectly lined up so they bowed a little, I'll be fixing that before I send this one off, but I wanted to show you the Silhouette file!

Thank you for stopping by and visiting with me today. Please leave us a comment and let us know how you like our hop!! Now hop on over to the next stop with Christina

Krazy Crafting Crew 2014 January Hop

      Jan2014BlogButton
Here we are in a New Year and all new projects for the hop. Today Robin Lane will be hosting from Create a Latte, with the New Year, "Anything Goes" would be a great way to start. Do you like paper crafts, making cookies, crocheting or making pillows? Really anything goes for more fun and inspiration for us ladies who love to bake and do other things then paper crafts!

So today I am going to show you another lighted glass block. (Here is a link to the one I made previously during our vinyl hop: http://tryin2craft.blogspot.com/2013/01/kcc-jan-hop-vinyl.html)
These are the materials I used:

Glass block
I actually found these at Home Depot for only $2.98! For those of you who have bought these before
you know they usually are $12.99 at Hobby Lobby - so I bought up all they had!

These are the inserts it comes with. I wish they had the money slot
adapter, but  I can improvise when the time comes.

I then frosted the entire block with Rustoleum Frosted Glass

I then made a bow.  Yes! I made this, first time ever and I am so proud!!

Finished light!
I used a file from the Silhouette online store

Help us by making our teams' resolution to gain followers and do a fantastic job for you that won't disappoint. We have a hop every first Sunday of the month, and we will bring some kind of inspiring project with us! Thank you for stopping by don't forget to hop the whole hop to see what we have going for you! Krazy Crafting Crew July Blog Hop - Happy Birthday!!

Welcome to the Krazy Crating Crew Birthday Bash! Well maybe not a bash, but a blog hop then.  This month we celebrate our group birthday.  I can't believe it's been a year already since KCC got together with the inspiration from our super patient coordinator Lissa.  Youshould have started our hop at her blog, if you didn't make sure you zip back there to see all the wonderful surprises we have for our fantastic followers!

So keeping in the theme of our special month I made a simple birthday card that is for all my fellow KCC sisters! Happy birthday to all of us here at KCC.

I've decided to try my hand at the clean and simple concept of cards.  Normally I am stressing at patterns and colors and thought it shouldn't be that hard, if I find an image I like (like this one from the Silhouette store) then why clutter it up with anything else.

As a birthday treat I have something great to give one of you......

All kinds of stickers, matching ribbon & tags!  They are all color coordinated, so hopefully
the winner likes purple 'cuz that's the mood I was in when I picked everything out!

Please be a follower of our group (each blog).  Leave me a comment -wish us a happy birthday and with a way to reach you if you should be happy purple winner!!.  Good luck.

Thanks for stopping by and hopping with for this special occasion.  Make sure you continue on by wishing Miranda a happy birthday also.

Scraps to Treasures May Blog hop - monochromatic scheme

Hi! This is Liz and I want to welcome you to the Scraps To Treasure Team's Monochromatic Blog Hop. Our goal at STT is to use up all our scraps and leftover embellishments to create wonderful layouts, cards and other projects. This month we are doing that using different shades of only one color. Up for grabs is this RAK from our hostess, Paula at http://preciouspagesbypaula.blogspot.com that will be going out to one lucky hopper that is a follower of all the blogs in the hop and has left a comment for each entry.

 Included in the RAK are:
10 My Mind's Eye Laundry Line Diecuts
2 Basic Grey Bling It On Rubons and Rhinestones
 2 Glitz Frosting Bling
 1 Martha Stewart Glitter Alphas
 1 EK Success Inspirables Embellishments
 1 Special Moments Embellishments
 1 Treasured Memories Metal Tags

For my entry I opted to create a birthday card.  One of my grandsons turned 8 yesterday so I used this event to plan my card!.  I used one of his favortie colors - BLUE.

The hippo & phrase are from the Cricut Cartridge Birthday Bash

Does the pic look a little fuzzy or just the hippo?

That's because he's on a wobble !!

I hope that you have enjoyed stopping by and seeing my card and now you are ready to move on through the following blogs and view more great monochromatic creations!!
