How do you like me now !!!!!

Hello and welcome, welcome to the unveiling of my new blog design!  How do you like it??  I think it is absolutely fantastic and absolutely me!  ha ha

All the credit goes to Debbie Crowder of bugjuiced.  She did all the work, all I had to do was sit back, relax and watch reruns of Glee!  I found Debbie on the Facebook Group Sisterhood of Papercrafting (wonderful group for all crafters).  She wanted to improve on her designing skills and I would say she didn't any improvement. After I contacted her everything fell into place.  Debbie asked some specific questions about my life, likes, hobbies and started to work right away.  Even after I changed my mind a few times on things she didn't give up.  She even made me a favicon (what is a favicon you ask?  it's okay you can ask, I had to!  LOL).  Look up in your address bar, that little head of mine is called a 'favicon'

If any of you are looking to get a personal blog makeover quickly at a very reasonable price I would strongly suggest you give Debbie a try, you can reach her at dsc105@live.com of join the FB group Sisterhood of Papercrafting and look for her.

Here are some other fantastic blogs that Debbie has designed if my crazy personality isn't for you.....

Again I need to thank Debbie for working so great with me and putting up with  my non-knowledge about blog design.  I couldn't be happier and now am so proud to have everyone visit!!!!!

Diamond Fold Birthday Card

Hello all my crafty friends thanks for stopping by!  Today I have a Diamond Fold card to share.  Creations with Christina has a tutorial on her blog and it was so interesting that I had to immediately try it.  Go to her blog for some very detailed instructions on how to make this.

Basic instructions are to start with a 4 x 12 piece of cardstock

Score at 2",4",8"&10"
make a mark at 6" and score from that point to the first score line on both ends
you then flip your paper and score again from the 6" line to the first score line  on both ends

This card isn't quite finished, I want to add a little something on the inside flaps. It will be for my oldest grandson's birthday. He is turning 11.  I'm just not sure what I want to add yet.  If I change it at all I will post an updated picture.

Thanks for stopping by and happy scrappin!

Purse Gift Card Holders

Well the summer season has ended (I know there are 14 more days) but for me and my family Labor Day marks  the end of our big camping season and day trips.  The grandkids are back in school and the days are shorter so we spend less time together.

On the up side (slightly up) it does leave me more time for crafting.  I get to scrapbook all our fun times throughout the summer. This year we took a road trip to Arizona.  3000 miles of family piled in a car for hours on end, something I need to immortalize on paper forever!  LOL

So back in my craft room the first thing I needed to do was make gift card holders for a couple friends who are having birthdays at the beginning of the month.

I used Tags, Bags, Boxes and more and cut these two little gift boxes.  The gift bag was cut at 6 1/4" and the purse was cut at 7".  The paper is from the Safari Untamed paperstack by the Paper Studio.  The flowers were glimmer misted and attached with brads.

I hope your summer was as fantastic as mine and look forward to a beautiful fall with lots of creations!

Thanks for stopping by and happy scrappin!
