Mini Album

This is a few pics of a mini album I have been working on.  I started this album for my DH's mother, I still have about 3 pages left to complete and then I will be mailing it off.  I am also posting this in Creations by Christina's mini album challenge. 

This was a premade chipboard album I had picked up at Michael's in the $1 bin a while back.  It was a chore trying to cut the paper to match the page.  Since I've started this I've learned a few tricks to make it easier, so I may try to do a pre-made album again, but I find cutting my own chipboard is actually easier.

Like I mentioned about I still have about 3 pages left to finish.  I seem to start off with all kinds of ideas and then about 1/2 way through I lose my mojo.  I am going to pick this one up again and finally finish it!  Thanks for looking and happy scrapping!!

Lucky Leprechaun St. Patrick's Day Blog Hop 3/17

ALTERED SHAMROCK BANNER
"Luck O' The Irish"

I found these glittered (and plain) shamrocks at Hobby Lobby and thought they were the perfect size for a banner:

I puched holes in each one to run white ribbon through and then I wanted to try the rosette tutorial I had seen on a Youtube video (sorry forget where I saw the first one it may have been Capadia Designs) and wanted a paper that was white with a green print. I searched everywhere and couldn't find the right paper, so I just made it.  I took plain white paper and used a leaf stamp I had in my stash and just stamped all over the paper and then cut it. It turned out exactly like what I wanted:

The leprechaun was cut from Paper Doll Dress up.  With the help of my good friend Shari she was able to alter his arm to be raised by manipulating the image in Sure Cuts Alot. I then used the umbrella cut (same cart) cut off the umbrella to use just the handle as a cane and hung him with a brad to "the"

Isn't he so cute with a Peachy Keen face !?

Three birthday cards

The kids across the street are have a group birthday party tomorrow because all their birthdays are in then same month.  I just found out about this and wanted to whip up three cute cards for them.  All the cuts are from Create a Critter (because that was the cartridge still out!  LOL).  I just grabbed some scraps and cut.  They aren't elaborate but I thought they turned out cute for little kids!  The hippo is on an Action Wobble so he actually moves out of the way to see the "hip hop hooray". Thanks for looking and happy scrapping.

Cricut Cardz Challenge #65 Tall Card

The challenge this week over at Cricut Cardz Challenge is to make a tall card.  I had a card to make for my son-in-law's birthday so I decided to make it to fit this challenge.  The alligator is from Create a Critter, the stamp is from Pink by Design "Just 4 Men".  Hope you like it.  Thanks for looking and happy scrapping!

Haven't posted

I know I haven't posted in awhile, sorry 'bout that. I've been so terribly tired and just can't find the extra energy to work on anything except my projects for the up coming blog hops I'm going to be in.  I promise I'll get this under control and get some new projects up for your guys. I really appreciate all my followers and don't want to disappoint.
