Look what I got today!

So excited I came home from work and my Clip It Up base unit was here!  I ordered it from Overstock, this was the cheapest place I could find it. I put it together in less then 5 minutes.

Now the filling it, organized, will take a little longer.  I started and already I can see I am going to need the upper tier, I had hoped to put stickers and embossing folders on it, but I am only half way done with the stickers and it is almost full!  I guess I need to either start using these stickers or stop buying them!

Toilet Paper Roll Mini

Here's a little mini I made using 4 toilet paper rolls.  The longest is 4" and I cut them down 1/2" consecutively, with the smallest being 2 1/2".  I used the bevel tag from Tags, Bags, Boxes & More cut @ 4" and I cut them down to fit inside each roll.   L  V E is cut from Storybook and the O is the swirl heart from Sweethearts. I used the Cinch to bind them altogether.  Hope you like it, thanks for looking and happy scrapping.

Cricut Cardz Challenge #59

This weeks challenge at cricut-cardz-challenge is to make a valentine's card for a child. Not getting to make 'girly' cards very often that is what I was going for.  Then I wanted to make a card strictly from a cricut cartridge so I chose Wild Card. I had picked this cart up during Black Friday for $10, because it was only $10, and I hadn't even looked at it yet (pitiful me).  I chose to make the heart card on page 67.  I cut everything at 4". The pink leopard paper is from the Paper Studio Safari Untamed glossy pack. I used the Hugs & Kisses stamp from Emma at Creative Time for me You had me at Chocolate set.  Hope you like it, thanks for looking and happy crafting!

MPS Birthday Challenge

For Robyn's 38th Birthday (The Pink Stamper) she offered up a challenge to make any birthday project. originally I was thinking about a birthday hat, but when I stumbled upon the tutorial for making a windshield wiper card I just had to try it.  This is the cutest card ever.  Unfortunately my creative (?) mind didn't lead me towards any Cricut cuts, I stamped the entire thing, which was pretty fun because I am NOT a stamper but having some garage sale find birthday stamps I decided I would use them. The cupcakes are both mounted on Action Wobbles (so much fun!). Thanks for looking and I hope you enjoy.

CardzTV challenge

Mary at Cardztv is having a challenge where you have to make something, anything, with a cupcake on it.  I made this cupcake card. I used my Gypsy and welded the cupcake shadow from the Critters cartridge into a card. I then embossed the frosting with the swirls folder, stickled the cherry and added some gems for extra glitz!

thanks for looking.

M.A.G. Challenge

So glad I found this blog, it's called M.A.G. Challenge by the page. You get a specific image and you must create something with that image. This challenge is...
On to Challenge #11 .  Remember, you can only use the images on the selected page!!
Cartridge:  Tags, Bags, Boxes and More
Page:  130

So I created a skull box. The skull is from Indi Art (so glad I got this download free with my Gypsy purchase!).  I used stickles in his eyes and mounted him on a wobble!  The handle is some beaded ribbon I picked up about a year ago to bling up a photo album. So cute. I have a grandson just crazy about all things "boney" so he will be getting this for valentine's day filled with goodies!!!  Hope you like it.

Throwback Thursday Challenge

The challenge at Emma's creative time is to..
***Use either "Paper Doll Dress Up" OR "Everyday Paper Doll" cartridge for this challenge!
*** Project of your choice MUST include either heat or dry embossing***

I used the dragon from the PDDU cartridge and embossed him with the scales folders from the Animal Prints set by Cuttlebug. The heart is from the Sweethearts cartridge and stamped with a Peachy Keen face stamp. The fire the little dragon is breathing is from Indie Art. I stickled the ends in orange and red. The sentiment is punched from the EK Success large punch (sorry that's all it says).  I did a border punch on both the top and bottom of the white layer and then stamped the hearts in pink red and green to match the background print.

Thanks for looking!

Paper Cutz Challenge

The paper cutz challenge this week was to design anything, any color, etc.  Well I had to make some surprise party invitations anyway and this challenge fit perfectly so here they are...

I believe the cake and candle stamps are from stampin' Up ( picked them up at a garage sale)
I used a standard A2 card back, paper from a scrapstack at Hobby Lobby, ribbon is from a Ribbon Boutique set I picked up at Wal-Mart and the "sshh!" was designed on my Gypsy. TFL and happy scrapping!!

Camping mini album

When I was at CHA this past July I picked up the stuff to make a cute little outdoor mini album.  I finally decided I had enough photos to complete it.  We have some camping property at a private resort called Woodhaven Lakes. This little book is dedicated to our fun times with the kids and grandkids there!

I still have a few little things to add and some journalling but for the most part it is finished.

MPS Blog Hop

The Pink Stamper had a bloghop to show off her new design team. At each stop she left a word that would eventually form a sentence for a challenge.  This is my design for her challenge

I also used one of Robyn's (MPS) stamps "Handmade with love by" from her Friends and Family set, to stamp "Handmade with love" on the front of the oven.

There is some glare on the layout, sorry, my photo-taking skills still need work-with flash to much glare, w/o flash to dark and blurry.

Action Wobbles are on sale!

Just got my e-mail that the new Action Wobbles are now on sale!  I received a free order from Action Wobbles when Emma (My Creative Time) posted a give-a-way on her blog.  I couldn't wait to get my order in!

For this Hello Kitty birthday card for a neighbor's little girl I put Kitty on a Wobble, so when she moves the card Kitty will dance!  Sorry I don't have a video of it but I'm still practicing on the video stuff.

This is the project from the Hello Kitty cartridge, I just wanted a quick card to try out another Wobble and needed the card right away.  Thanks for looking!

Bling it on!!

I was at Michael's and found some gem stickers from Recollections on clearance for $1 so I bought a couple packs, came home and decided I needed to bling up my babies!!

So first I added bling to my ATG and my E...

Then I decided the teal in one of the stickers matched my Create ...
and I couldn't leave out my original Baby.....

...and as long as my daughter had left her ATG at my house..well I couldn't help myself!!!
